Laura Lima’s Cinema Shadow, 2014

Production assistant for Cinema Shadow, at Berns Salonger in collaboration with Stockholm Film Festival, Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Nyhetsbolaget. Photo: Olle Kirchmeier.

Cinema Shadow is a live feature film; simultaneoulsy filmed and screened at the cinema. This work lasted for eight hours, and was filmed in both Stockholm and Rio de Janeiro. The story is based around a trip, beginning in Stockholm and ending at Pracia do Diablo in Rio de Janeiro.

Cinema Shadow was one of my favorite projects within this field. My main role was to be the link between Lima’s artistic direction and the actors, and the link between the film team in Rio de Janeiro and us working in Stockholm, through the preparations and rehearsals.
